Your lawn might be rejuvenated by power seeding and over seeding or it might require partial or complete re-sodding. If we determine that you need seeding, we'll start by aerating to loosen up the root zone and soil surface. This helps to encourage better seed germination. The entire lawn is then seeded using only a premium lawn seed mix with the heaviest application where the lawn is the thinnest. We stress the fact that we use only the best seed varieties. We use a number of different seed mixes, depending on the condition and circumstances of the lawn. We might suggest a follow-up seeding to ensure maximum results.
This includes debris removal, trim shrubs, weed control treatment and fluffing mulch.
Lawn mowing is preformed on a regular basis as conditions require. also includes weed trimming, edging along turf areas, and cleaning up debris. We will keep your lawn looking great all season!
We can tailor a program for your lawn and your budget. We use 100% granular and organic based fertilizers and apply it in a safer manner. Children and pet safety is a priority, not a problem. Get scheduled early to ensure season long crabgrass control.
Fertilizing is an important part of your lawn's health. Too much fertilizer, not enough fertilizer, or fertilizer applied at the wrong time can weaken your lawn and allow weeds to enter. Our objective is to apply the right amount of fertilizer at the right time. Weed and pest control applications are done on an a timely basis.
Fertilizing and Weed Control
Aeration is the practice of removing cores of soil from the lawn. This will help loosen the soil and allow roots to spread, water and air to enter and fertilizers to be more effective. If your soil feels hard (pushing a screwdriver in 3" is very difficult) or water does not soak in, then your lawn may benefit from aerating.
Aeration is best done in the Spring or Fall. A lawn can also be over seeded after aeration to improve or repair damaged areas. If your lawn has a sprinkler system, we can deliver marking flags to identify the head locations before aeration.
The key to proper insect control is early and correct identification of the infestation. There are many different insects that can damage your lawn in our area. One of the most common is of course, the white grub. White grubs are soil inhabitants that feed off the roots of grasses. Grubs are the immature stages of some beetles, including Japanese Beetles, June Beetles, and May Beetles. They are whitish, "c" shaped and worm like. Without a plan or control program, the number of white grubs will increase as will the damage to the lawn. Damage to the roots of your lawn or turf grass can be devastating if no action is taken.
